Nov 15, 2018 · The English 'City 2' stations will be renamed 'Greatest Hits Radio'; oddly, the Scottish 'City 2' names will be retained. Free Radio 80s will become Greatest Hits Radio, and on 105.2 FM in West Midlands. Simon Ross will do breakfast in England, Ewan Cameron will do breakfast in Scotland. Good riddence, the ‘2’ names were silly.

Oct 29, 2024 · Greatest Hits Radio Network. They’ll only need one studio in Liverpool rather than two. The Hits breakfast show from Liverpool will run in the short-medium term and then be dropped. Bauer probably don’t have the guts yet to drop the show, nor take it away from the city while it still exists.
Feb 25, 2024 · 27/02/24 - 16:13 #11760. Someone's already posted this on the Wave 105 Wikipedia page -. On the 27th of February 2024 it was announced that Wave 105 was to be rebranded and be replaced by Greatest Hits Radio South Coast, bringing it in line with Bauer Media's other stations.
Sep 12, 2024 · Ken said Joanna will be on his show Monday to launch GHR 60s. From the Heat thread Heat will be London DAB and online only, so GHR 60s can take it's SDL slot. The two 60s Jukebox slots are automated continuous music, (mostly) without even a voice-tracked presenter — hence “jukebox" and “non-stop 60s greatest hits”.
Apr 3, 2023 · On Alexa here, it says Greatest Hits Radio London, but it's the national UK Premium feed. Premium users don't get access to the local stream either on the app or via smart speaker. Ideally listeners should get the option to have choose between UK or Scotland ad-free.

Dec 4, 2023 · Imagine if there were some decent radio stations left worth listening to. Imagine if the regulator actually considered the listener in their decisions, rather than inflicting extremely poor networked radio on listeners. The music might be good on greatest hits radio, but the content is shockingly lacking.

Oct 30, 2024 · It's getting 8% reach or 130,000 listeners, just behind Hits South Wales on 9% and 160k in the same TSA while having the added advantage of FM in Swansea. Nation Radio is also around 9% and 160k while being on FM across south Wales, so GHR is looking good on that comparison too.
