The infection allegedly causes lesions on the outside of the vagina, as well as bruising, which causes it to look blue in colour. There is no such disease but it's a common Internet myth that keeps popping up.

I actually believe they made this to bury the other image of "Blue Waffles" I told a friend not to google blue Waffles on her phone and she did anyway because she was curious. This is the first image she came across and she had to try to find the original image that made everyone go wtf.

Nov 3, 2013 · I want to say I heard of the blue waffle in my freshman year of college (2006) but this says it didn't show up till 2010. So I don't think I believe this. I could just be wrong though so take my comment with a gain of salt
Feb 9, 2019 · It's a fictional STD. Googling it will bring up pictures of genitals ravaged with real STDs though. Haha, made me look! It's mostly pics of genital warts and some actual blue coloured waffles. Please don’t google it. I think it's old people having sex, I could be wrong.

If you are looking at photos of that, you are looking at a woman who has been horrifically assaulted and then put through a humiliating exam.
