Andor Pünkösti was born on 31 October 1892 in Kassa, Hungary, Austria-Hungary [now Kosice, Slovak Republic]. He was a writer and director, known for Álomsárkány (1939), Elkésett levél (1941) and Bünös vagyok! (1942). He died on 12 July 1944 in Budapest, Hungary.
