Feb 21, 2024 · You need to export your emails from Windows Live Mail as Microsoft Exchange format, and then import them to Outlook using a thumb drive or a network connection. Here are the steps you can follow: On your old computer, open Windows Live Mail and click on File > Export email > Email messages. Choose Microsoft Exchange as the format and click Next.
Although Windows Essentials (which includes Photo Gallery) is not supported (won't get any updates) anymore, you still can download the offline installer. During the installation you can choose which programs you want to install.

Before answering your question, I need to state that the product life cycle is over and Microsoft will no longer provide technical support, bug fixes, or security fixes for Windows Live Mail.
Feb 24, 2018 · The version after that is Windows Movie Maker 6.0 which had both a 64-bit version and GPU rendering of effects and transitions. As for the "Windows Live" version, the last version of that was Movie Maker 2012 (they dropped the "Live" branding). That's the one you found in the archive.
Mar 19, 2022 · Can someone tell me how to set up to use Windows Live Mail for Gmail after the May 30, 2022 Gmail changes. There is something I have read about "app passwords" which sounds a lot like what Yahoo has done. I have about 75 clients who use WLM. Most of them have Gmail accounts. I would rather not have to switch to a different mail client.
