Founded as a technical school in 1956, TWGSB became a grammar school in 1982. [1] The current enrolment of 1,984 pupils (of which 492 are in the sixth form) is spread across two sites: the main site in Tunbridge Wells and the annexe in Sevenoaks. The lower school is all boys (aged 11–16 years) whilst the sixth form is mixed (aged 16–18 years).

Jan 25, 2024 · It’s definitely not like another nearby school! School has full time life coach (and 3 counsellors) who is amazing - for all issues teenagers face. Some older boys can help support younger years in helping w subjects for gcse. Boys have a good support system for GCSEs this year - timetabled until May half term.
