Once you unlock old Scarlet Monastery, The Scarlet Key is farmable. Simply run Armory wing and hope for it to drop. I did multiple runs and i received a lot of keys either from the last boss Herod, or from the mobs at the end of the dungeon. EDIT: I am definitely not a troll. If the keys are not dropping anymore, it was a mistake and it was fixed.
