Ray Enright (March 25, 1896 – April 3, 1965) was an American film director. He directed 73 films between 1927–53, many of them for Warner Bros. [1] He oversaw comedy films like Joe E. Brown vehicles, five of the six informal pairings of Joan Blondell and Glenda Farrell, and later directed a number of Westerns, many featuring Randolph Scott.
Ray Enright. Director: Song of the West. Ray Enright, born in Anderson, Indiana, came to Los Angeles with his family at the age of five. He attended Los Angeles High School and in 1913 started motion picture work as an assistant cutter at the Mack Sennett studio. He served in World War I as a member of the Signal Corps.
