In the Round is an album by Pentangle, jointly produced by Doug Beveridge, Roger Wake, and Pentangle. It was issued in 1986 on Spindrift SPIN 120 in 1986 and on Varrick CDVR026 (CD) VR026 (LP) and CVR026 (cassette) in 1990. There is a typo on the sleeve, as it credits the licence to "Jackie" McShee, not Jacqui McShee.

Sep 1, 2005 · Waiting in the wings was Nigel Portman Smith on bass and piano. The three put together a show and headed out on the road. There was a zest and freshness that was apparent away from the glitzy showbiz straightjacket. Three albums were made.

There followed a series of replacement personnel: Mike Piggott replaced Renbourn in 1982, Nigel Portman Smith replaced Thompson in 1986 and Gerry Conway replaced Cox in 1987, leaving McShee and Jansch the only members remaining from the original line-up.
Jacqui McShee sang as well as ever, and new bass player Nigel Portman Smith (who replaced Danny Thompson on Play The Game) added a new dimension. The original Pentangle lineup reunited in 2007 for the BBC Folk Awards, where they received a Lifetime Achievement honour.
