At the trial, Evans testified that Baby C died as a result of a bubble of air pumped in to his stomach, “shattering his diaphragm”. The evidence he presented was based on an X-ray taken during treatment.
Oct 11, 2024 · To claim Letby was the only nurse present for the cases of deaths or non-fatal incidents IS A STATISTICAL ARGUMENT. Of very questionable validity given no one ever saw Letby - or anyone else for that matter - harm any babies. But now we know even that statistically questionable argument has been seriously undermined.
