Jan 4, 2022 · Jetblue has and does occasionally send the LRs on JFK-LAX and I’ve seen it staffed each time with 5 FAs in the back which is what they use for London. That being said 5 FAs is not a requirement for the staffing and the plane is certified to be sent out with the minimum crew of 3, even London can be sent with 3 FAs if needed.

They still plan to take 50 aircraft in 2024 and 2025, but the bulk of the expected deliveries are planned to be A223s. This will allow B6 to fully retire their E190E1 fleet by the end of 2025.
Oct 28, 2024 · JetBlue's fleet problem is much more that they don't have 70 seaters than that they don't have widebodies. One half of airliners.net: Jetblue has too many airplane types. They need to consolidate to A320s-only. The other half: Jetblue needs regional jets and widebodies. Neeleman didn't say Jetblue "should have" purchased widebodies.
