The old meter is/was at the rear of the property next to the boiler inside. They have run a copper pipe to the front of the house which is pretty ugly but I don't think there is any choice on that.

He called out Cadent who identified the leak on my neighbours meter and repaired it. The mgmt company have now advised that the non demised meters are checked by each flat owner for safety.

I have attached a before picture and a few afters. They eventually found the pipe, which was encased in concrete and was running parallel, and just alongside, the wooden fence.

  10. Apr 1, 2019 · 2 Apr 2019. #4. If you want to use the flush type boxes you won’t be able to put the boxes there. The boxes go into the cavity and you’d need them to be further from the corner. Also I don’t think you can have a hole in the brickwork that big without a mini joist to support the wall. Ask a structural engineer.
