Babetida grew up in Guinea-Bissau until she was 12 years old, before moving to Hanoi in Vietnam where she attended the Lycée français Alexandre Yersin for 4 years. It was there that she learned French and discovered theater.
Babetida Sadjo is an award-winning actress, writer and director who has starred in films such as And Breathe Normally, Paradise Suite and Waste Land. She was born in Bafatá, Guinea-Bissau and graduated from the Royal dramatic conservatory of Brussels.
