Jul 15, 2014 · A couple collects dazzling works destined for their New York and Connecticut homes—and for the Brooklyn Museum. Hanging in Stephanie and Tim Ingrassia’s Brooklyn Heights townhouse, overlooking New York Harbor and Lower Manhattan, is a family portrait by Tina Barney.
Stephanie and Tim Ingrassia founded Spring Hill Vineyards in 2006. In 2017, they began work on a wooded corner of their farm that has since become home to the Spring Hill Arts Gathering, evolving from a modest wine-tasting venue to a center for community celebrations and cultural exchanges.
The photo shows Tim fixing their eldest son’s tie while Stephanie and the three younger children linger in various postures of engagement and disengagement. “We had all been waiting for my son, who was late coming home,” explains Stephanie, president of the board at the Brooklyn Museum.
Stephanie Ingrassia. Stephanie joined the Brooklyn Board in 2014. She currently serves as the President of the Board of the Brooklyn Museum. Stephanie studied fine arts and art history at Michigan State and the University of London, and received a BA from the School of Visual Arts in New York.
