Passing Through. Eddie Warmack, an African American jazz musician, is released from prison for the killing of a white gangster. Not willing to play for the mobsters who control the music industry, including clubs and recording studios, Warmack searches for his mentor and grandfather, the legendary jazz musician Poppa Harris.
Nathaniel Taylor plays African-American jazz musician Warmack, who is bedeviled by crooked, homicidal record executives. At the behest of his grandfather Papa Harris (Clarence Muse), Warmack seeks out inner strength by studying his family roots.
Passing Through tells the story of a frontline health care worker, pushed to the limit, who embarks on a cross country trip of discovery only to find out that things are not what they appear.
