  1. Jul 17, 2023 · We went to an small independent who wanted around £7k for units and fitting. We sourced our own appliances for around £4k, and found a quartz supplier who could supply and fit quartz worktops and upstands for about £2k. So about £13k for something that Wren wanted £22k for.

  2. Dec 31, 2021 · This is a really frustrating and disappointing prospect when we have committed to a £8,124.39 loan (arranged with Barclays Personal Finance through Wren) over 36 months. After the process of replacing multiple door and drawer frontal was coming to an end, I made a complaint to Wren Customer Care on 20th December saying that we expected the ...

  3. Dec 14, 2020 · 4.95 64 reviews. Prenton. I find B&Q to be a typical budjet kitchen flat pack, 3mm back panels and thinner carcases, been a while since I've done a wickes (Travis Perkins and Benchmarx are the same all owned by TP) but I don't remember them being any better, none of which are of the quality of Wren. I fit a lot of Howdens kitchens, I would put ...

  4. Apr 13, 2022 · Obviously varies between branches however I have always found howdens to be a bit better. Wren generally have a longer lead time on their stock. Price wise pretty similar but howdens do a price match/ cheaper scheme if you take a cheaper quote to them, not sure if wren do this or not. Answered. 13 April 2022.

  5. May 21, 2019 · In my experience Howden's and Benchmarx offer a much speedier resolution if something arrives damaged. This is an important factor to consider when making your decision. Wren can take up to 2 weeks and their aftercare service is not as efficient as Howden's and Benchmarx. You can generally pick up anything damaged or missing on the same day ...

  6. Jul 13, 2023 · I got my kitchen from DIY Kitchens and have been so pleased with the results - a fraction of the comparable Wren price and no hiccups during self-design and delivery stages. My joiner commented that they were much better quality than a Wren kitchen he'd fitted a few months earlier - this was in 2020 so things may have improved.

  7. Apr 10, 2024 · We have recently had a Wren kitchen installed for which we have made a complaint following a number of issues we had. Having had some back and forth with their complaints department, we have been offered compensation of slightly under 2% of our kitchen cost (excluding fitting) which is almost double their initial offer but still significantly less than we might have hoped for although we ...

  8. Feb 22, 2022 · Wren kitchen issues. I'm hoping you will be able to help! We bought a kitchen from Wren in Dec 2021 to be fitted middle of Feb 2022. We got a quote from their installer in 2021 which we agreed with as it was under 3000 pounds. At the end of Jan 2022 , less than 28 days before the delivery and installation date, they tell us the original ...

  9. Feb 18, 2021 · 18 February 2021 at 9:25PM. Hi all. I am currently in dispute with Wren Kitchens regarding a kitchen installation that they completed at my property in June 2020 (kitchen purchased in the showroom in March 2020). We paid for their fitting service and were really unhappy with the quality of workmanship, with a number of issues that needed sorting.

  10. Dec 16, 2020 · Wren win on both points, hands down. Their quality and panel/door thickness is greater than IKEA and you will also find the few of us who actually for IKEA kitchens charge more as it takes longer to install due to flat pack and IKEA off spec cabinet sizes etc. Personally I do like some of the innovations that IKEA offer but would also not fit ...
