Dec 30, 2022 · A rapper (I can’t remember who) that was a guest on a podcast accidentally referenced to Banksy as “Robbie”. People used the evidence from the 2016 article to connect the dots to Massive Attack front man Robert Del Naja. Not confirmed though.
Banksy does also have an official art dealer that he works with and will verify his works. There also is a name that gets floated around frequently as Banksy's real identity, and he apparently often works with assistants as well. So presumably there are quite a few people who know who he really is. They could debunk any phonies if they cared to.

Mar 19, 2011 · Another theory is that "Banksy" is a collective of artists, or has grown into that; one artists vision but multiple people executing it. Think of it as Andy Warhol's Factory but on wheels. Much harder to find someone when everyone in the crowd has the same "name". IMO it is impossible to be that prolific without a lot of help.
