It's possible scammers have spoofed the number but I had a completely legit O2 partner call from 03333446973 with an upgrade for my tariff. Got an e-mail from an official O2 e-mail address after to confirm the upgrade, and a text from the legit O2 text number confirming the order.

The scammers called my phone asking me my security questions, and when i gave a false answer, they corrected me by giving me the correct answer. This is an answer only O2 should have but the scammers also had it.
Nov 24, 2022 · I have had 3 calls from 03333446987 claiming to be from O2. They seem to have a lot of details about my account. "Daniel" is trying to sell me an IPad. He is very pushy. This number is registered as a scam on "Who Called Me" website. Have blocked him and changed my password. Any more advice appreciated.

I have received a number of missed phone calls today from numbers starting with 07568 (02 phone number prefix). When I have attempted to call these numbers back I got the number not recognised message. All of the numbers are the same other than the last 3 digits.

Jun 17, 2022 · I answered the phone, where the girl claimed to be from 02 and offered a 40% discount. Using the usual tactics, she took over my account and ordered the new iphone. My tariff was also changed. When i started to get all the emails, i then realised i had been scammed. I called O2 (202) and told them what happened.
