Mar 8, 2024 · Wave 105 has been able to share all of its programming with Magic London since 2010. Wave is a "qualifying regional" and Magic is on D1. Nobody understands the present rules because they are so complicated, let alone what constitutes "mainstream popular music" so a format change isn't required.

Bauer owns several other brands in the area and it’s one of these - Greatest Hits Radio (GHR) that will replace Wave at Easter.

Mar 28, 2024 · Wave has been there for so many moments in my life. The sea is sounding rather choppy tonight !! And that's it. We never listen to the radio in the evening at home, it's normally in the car or the office, but tonight it was TV off and radio on, using an FM tuner on 105.2, because it just seemed right.

Steve Power, Rick Jackson, Andy Jackson, Kate Weston, Selina Ross (and more) all have incredibly loyal listener good will.

Apr 26, 2024 · She was doing a daily one hour show on DevonAir Gold when that first launched. More recently doing a Sunday show on DevonAir. I'm not 100% sure, but I think she is still based in Devon and was remote on Wave 105 most of the time. Steve Power just confirmed his return to radio. Details Monday morning.
Mar 28, 2024 · With regards to Wave 105’s coverage today it’s been superb. With regards to the campaign andditional information has been submitted to Ofcom and a formal complaint has been raised with Bauer. It doesn't matter how much additional material you submit, this fully complies with the localness rules introduced by Ofcom in 2019.
