Or just try to save it in different folder /with proper access (at least read/write) P.S. And just for the try, you can disable Windows UAC (user access control).
Jul 13, 2014 · Namely, when I try to open a torrent file or try to download through magnet link the uTorrent program starts (the file is associated) but no window is displayed in which I can choose the location or the label of the torrent file, and moreover I get the message "The torrent file you are trying to add is already in the list of torrents, Do you want to load the trackers from it".
Jan 14, 2010 · In branches 1.8 and 2.0, Win X86 but not Mac:The program fails to delete "not in use" .torrent files in its own local "cache" that has this general path:C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent If you delete all the .torrent files in this directory, you have to load them in again.
Sep 19, 2024 · I have been trying so hard to connect and download torrents on windows 11. DHT stucks to waiting to log in and downloads are stuck to connecting to peers. This happened since I upgraded to windows 11. Please help.
Jan 7, 2007 · FWIW: uTorrent's appdata path on windows 7 is: (insert system drive letter here):\Users\(insert current user's name here)\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent\ Notice the added roaming folder. Windows XP doesn't use the Local, LocalLow, or Roaming folders. I don't know about Vista. I avoid Vista like Windows Mistake Edition. Hope this helps.
Feb 28, 2012 · This will only help if you magnet links don't automatically open up in uTorrent. I would suggest to all of you using any of the 3.1 versions of uTorrent to update to the 3.2 beta 27138 version. I didn't touch the 3.1 series at all as people seemed to have various problems with it.
Apr 9, 2021 · uTorrent (for Windows) Troubleshooting. The 'Ads' and: 'File' 'Options' 'Help' (and everything they bring up) are flashing/flickering about once per second since I updated to 3.5.5 (build 45952). It does not affect functionality, but it's driving me insane! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling uTorrent - no luck.
Mar 5, 2013 · 2- Your app is in “wifi-only mode” and you aren't on a wifi network. How to check this: tap on the menu button (three dots) in upper corner of the screen in portrait (vertical) mode. Tap on “Settings”. Turn off the switch for “Use Wi-Fi networks only.”. Toggle it once to make sure it is off-- it should be red.

Write size too small. utorrent protects our harddrives by using memory for buffering (another reason is harddrive's small size random write is too slow).
