Stephenson College is a constituent college of Durham University, named after George Stephenson, the railway engineer. It was founded in 2001 as part of the Queen's Campus in Thornaby-on-Tees, and moved to Durham in 2019.
Stephenson is a truly modern 21 st Century College and one of the youngest in Durham. We are a community of around 1,000 students from across the UK and around the world, of which 430 reside in College.
