We are a couple in our 50s (53 and 58) and have had investments with SJP for about 15 years. They manage my husbands pension (value of about £150k) and ISA worth about £70k.

I am currently with St. James's Place, but they take 4% upfront on any investments, and there's a management fee of 2% plus an exit fee for first 6 years. After the 6 year period is up, I am thinking about moving this money, and investing more.

I responded with " I have just finished a review where the ongoing cost is 0.82% p.a.". Plus, that person many years ago had a 1% initial charge whereas SJP charge would have been 5%.
