Jul 6, 2023 · Multiple sources tell THR that only four scripted TV series remain in production on the East Coast — with three of them produced by Murphy: American Horror Story, American Sports Story and the episodic anthology American Horror Stories (the fourth is Lionsgate/Starz’s Power Book 2: Ghost).
Every Ryan Murphy show is campy and ridiculous from the start. After it gets popular, people feel the need to justify it, so they form the idea that the show is some tightly-written, highly polished work. Then, when it continues being campy and ridiculous, they claim that the later seasons are worse than the earlier ones.

Sensationalized would be more accurate, my big issue with Ryan Murphy's Dahmer is it feels like I'm watching the villains perspective version of a show like true detective rather than a show about actual events.

Oct 25, 2022 · It’s refreshing to see I am not alone in my thoughts on Murphy. I just think so much of his ideas are just fever Dream ideas with no real end goal. He loses sight of what he’s doing midway through. Even the ending of The Watcher, I won’t spoil it but that last episode just kinda threw me for a loop and made me dislike the show as a whole.
