Richard Thomas Griffiths OBE (31 July 1947 – 28 March 2013) [1] [2] was an English actor. He was known for his portrayals of Vernon Dursley in the Harry Potter films (2001–2010), Uncle Monty in Withnail and I (1987), and Henry Crabbe in Pie in the Sky (1994–1997).
Richard Griffiths (1947-2013) was a versatile and acclaimed actor who played Vernon Dursley in the Harry Potter film series. He also starred in Withnail & I, The History Boys, Pirates of the Caribbean and many other roles.
