    • Emma B. 10 contributions. Beautiful Cathedral with stunning stain glass windows. We enjoyed the walk around this beautiful cathedral. We were lucky to enjoy music from the organ during our visit.
    • Martin H. Hong Kong, China 867 contributions. A Good Museum. This museum is free and covers two floors. I'm surprised how much art they have on display for a small museum.
    • GranZorro. Zug, Switzerland 1,504 contributions. Quimper and Bretagne take good care of their cultural heritage. An unexpectedly amazing museum. • Musée de la Faïence. For a lot of people “Quimper” means ceramics: Faïence pottery has been produced in the Locmaria quarter, just southwest of the centre of Quimper, since the late-17th century.
    • Musée Départemental Breton. In the Episcopal palace where the Cornouaille Bishops lived from the 1500s to the 1800s, the Breton Departmental Museum is an absorbing ride through the rich heritage and culture of Quimper and Finistère.

  5. Capital of Cornwall in southern Finistère, Quimper is labeled city of Art and History through the quality of its architectural heritage: the Saint-Corentin Cathedral, the timber-framed houses of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries alongside the ramparts and the River Odet, the Locmaria district, museums, and lively shopping streets...
