The Mistley Thorn has 11 Rooms and 2 Mews Cottages each individually designed with uncluttered elegance. There is a mixture of bedrooms, eight in the body of the hotel, three over our shop and two self-contained mews cottages to the rear of the main building.

Check Rates & Availability. Classic Room 7 is on the top floor of the main building and has beautiful views over the estuary. It has sloping ceilings and a spacious bathroom with bath and powerful overhead shower.

We are always on the lookout for great talent to join our team at The Mistley Thorn and Lucca Enoteca. You need to be positive, energetic, friendly and team-focused. Previous experience is essential for some jobs, but we are happy to train the right applicants for certain positions.
Superior Rooms 1 & 2 are on the first floor in the main building with views of the Robert Adam designed fountain and Bath House (now a private home) with the Stour Estuary beyond. These rooms are spacious with superking beds that can be twinned and can accommodate a rollaway or cot bed for a child.
