Has anyone got one of these?I seen they are run by Capital One, my friends got hardly any credit history (always just had one bank account and most of his earnings has been cash in hand since he was 17) and is looking a card to build it with, any ideas on limits etc?

I'd be wary of paying anything to get a credit card i know capital one have a secured credit card where you do have to pay something usually between 49-200 pounds to get the card. Luma is something new and hardly anyone has mentioned it i only noticed as i subscribe to the lovemoney newsletter where it was mentioned.
Feb 18, 2014 · The Luma card is issued by Capital One. If you’ve had a Capital One account for more than 6 months, you can also apply for the Luma card today. Your original post says you have a Capital One card for 9 months so according to FAQ it should be ok.

HAd mine for 4 months and was wondering if / when they increase the limit ? My limit at the moment is £200 and i was thinking its a little low...Pay the min by direct debit and always pay extra. Normally use it for petrol and online shopping, but becuase the limit is low i need to pay extra every month. a limit of £500 would really suit my needs.
