There kitchens are sronger and better quality carcases also they are rigid and not flat pack, a designer will come out for free via your builder and finally if you are paying someone else to fit than the money saved on labour fitting rigid compared to putting together flat pack is a big plus.

Nov 21, 2023 · I'd also agree with the Howdens kitchens being good Quality. As for pricing then it all depends on the trade account holder. It's all a bit all over the place. One person will get a 30% off RRP price and others will only get 15% but the RRP they get will be different to the first person!

Feb 19, 2021 · I have got a quote from howdens through my builder it is the cheapest so far out of Wren, Magnet and few local kitchen shops. But it still seems a tad bit high. So armed with the quote I went over to Diy kitchens and tried to add everything like to like.. I’m pretty sure I am maybe 80% correct in adding like to like and this comes to £4800.

Aug 26, 2013 · In the last year, I have fitted about 11 kitchens, 9 of them Howdens and 2 Magnet Trade. I can't comment on diykitchens, but the reason I stick to Howdens particularly is that their stock level are excellent. Occasionally there is a damaged panel or carcass or a piece is missing. I can then go to Howdens and get the item exchanged immediately.

When I was happy with the design and costs I paid a deposit only (on credit card) When the kitchen space was ready, Howdens came out to take their own measurements, ensured all measurements and unit details correct, and I paid the balance last week.
