75 Years the Best for Cats. The FIFe can be considered as the United Nations of Cat Federations. In fact it is a federation of national members representing, at present, 40 countries with 42 Members, but whose numbers continue to grow.
On this page we present you the breeds recognised by FIFe: from the breeds the longest recognised (since our foundation year 1949) – Abyssinian, Chartreux, European, Manx, Persian, Russian Blue, Sacred Birman and Siamese – to the recently preliminary recognised breeds Bombay and Lykoi. FIFe subdivides the recognised breeds in four categories.
