Sep 10, 2024 · Hello everyone, so essentially my ancestor is A nette Hansine Halvorsdatter/Svensen 1851-1922. Her birth records lists both parents but she is listed as Illegitimate so I have no been able to figure out her Grandparents on either side as I don't know how without a marriage record.
May 14, 2019 · Oscar Jr. was born March 30, 1941 in the same Manhattan borough of NYC as his sister was born in 1943. Both of their birth records show their family name as Farmer. In those days (1940s) it would be extremely unlikely (impossible?) that a baby is born and recorded with a family name that isn't the father's name, unless the father is gone.

If Sven Kolle did move out of the parish and the couple who had a Halvor in 1813 is a different couple, I have no idea of where the Sven Kolle and his family went. However, the death records are sometimes hard to read. My gut feeling says the firsst Halvor died and this is the same couple.

Sep 11, 2024 · He was the oldest and only son. In 1913 my grandfather's Mother turned the land/farm over to the daughter. Over the next few years the land was taken from the girl and eventually ended up in a different family. Are there court records telling of this? Any help would be appreciated.
