Apr 19, 2024 · Have an unforgettable day out at Edinburgh Zoo, home of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) and visit over 2,500 incredible animals from around the world!
We plan to be open every day of the year, with the exception of Christmas Day (25 December). Last entry to the zoo is one hour before closing time. Please note that some areas, including Koala Territory, have restricted opening times – ask on arrival for details.

We recommend that all visitors, except RZSS members, book in advance to get the best rate. You could save around 10% compared to buying tickets on the day! You can arrive at any time after your timeslot and can stay as long as you like until the zoo closes. Our ticket prices include a small voluntary donation.
