However it tells me I need a BT password (which is not the one I use to access my BT emails at BT's own site), and also it tells me I may need an 'app password'. I don't know what that is. Jan 24, 2024 · On My BT page go to 'Your products'. Scroll down to 'Included in your product' to find email settings. Click Manage and find the email account to migrate out. Click on 'See options' and select 'Give this email address'. Fill in the form, and in the box for email address for user enter the address want to migrate, and confirm.

Click on the email button at the top of this page and try that if you have not already been using it. If you still can not get access to your email try using the "Forgot Log on Details" on the BTMail log on page and follow the prompts.

If that doesn't help you could try turning off your BT hub for a 15 minutes to see if its allocated a new IP address which will hopefully use a different email server which may allow you to log on. 0 Ratings.
Jul 3, 2024 · When you delete the account you must switch off and restart your phone. Go to your iPhone home screen and tap Settings. Scroll down to Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Tap Add Account. Scroll down and tap Other. Tap Add Mail Account. Put the name you want people to see when they get mail from you in the Name field.
Mar 22, 2024 · DownDetector is alive with errors. I have been trying to log in to all 6 of my email accounts and have had the same response as above. My experience with BT has been worsening over the last year, and Iwill move to Sky or Trooli within the next month or so. BT have some good ideas, but are very poor at implementing them?
