This hotel was apparently bombed in 1940 and the remains of it were left for a long time before the plot was finally built on. There are a few images of the hotel here ...

We had a Pontiac Trans am witha line lock on the braking system and limited slip diff .As you probably know the line lock disabled the rear brakes to enable easy rear wheel steering from the accelerator, not very sophisticated but was a lot of fun.
