That’s why it’s complementing broadcast shows with a range of podcasts and music mixes, and why it’s pushing them heavily in the app. The selection of content goes well beyond the standard BBC radio programming.
Nov 10, 2020 · Method 1. The official advice is to say: “Alexa, open BBC Sounds”. You’ll hear a BBC blang and then be asked to choose a radio station, podcast or programme. Once Alexa has stopped speaking, you can ask for a specific station/podcast/show without having to say “Alexa” again.
Dec 16, 2022 · The BBC Sounds app for smartphones and tablets also offers live radio. However, it does seem the BBC is going to shove a whole load of internet radio hardware closer to the skip with this decision. Not least because where the BBC leads, others will follow.

Jan 22, 2020 · I usually listen to radio when working using Microsoft Edge and the BBC Sounds webpage. Since the last updates (KB4528760, KB4532938 and possibly KB4528759) this has not been possible. I navigate to the page just fine, although things are slightly different. Usually the radio station starts playing but now nothing happens.
Oct 26, 2022 · If you’re using an Apple Mac, you can find your downloaded shows and films in the BBC iPlayer Downloads folder situated in your Movies folder. The BBC iPlayer downloads app also allows you to change the destination folder if you need to. You can also quickly open the location by clicking the View in Explorer  or View in Finder  link.

Mar 27, 2020 · The key to this is the My Sounds button at the bottom of the main window, and the Subscribe option on individual programme pages. It’s simplicity itself to subscribe: you click on the programme you’re interested in and hit the Subscribe button.
