I find it unacceptable that Microsoft have removed my ability to run a home page of my choice. in my case BBC news. This will force me to change my browser away from Microsoft after many many years. Dec 8, 2023 · We can't reproduce your issue so it seems that not the Edge's update cause. Please press Ctrl+Shift+N enter the InPrivate mode and check whether you can read BBC news. If it's works in InPrivate Mode you can create a new profile and sign your account in the new profile and it will sync your data to the new Profile. edge://settings/profiles.

Sep 20, 2015 · Still cannot access BBC news/uk as Homepage. Set up BBC news uk as home page, (Windows 10). I receive distorted page mainly text. After clicking the Video button the BBC page clears and the video/pictures appear. However, if you click say, weather or sport, the distortion returns. Anyone help ?. Hope so. Thanks, Eric NT. Jan 12, 2023 · Second: if you do hit the "Read More" button, you may get the article you wanted, but so crapped up with ads that you can't read more than a couple of sentences at a time, before you get interrupted with a screen filling ad, and many more in the margin, that you have to scroll past to continue reading.
