At Battersea we offer our love and expert care to dogs and cats who need us by rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals at our centres, and by sharing our knowledge and resources with rescue organisations around the world.
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form.

It’s why we share our knowledge, provide training and grant funding to animal rescue partners around the world, offer online pet advice and training to anyone who needs it, and campaign to improve the lives of dogs, cats, and their owners.
A tour of Battersea offers a unique chance to get a closer look at our work, while also helping the dogs and cats at our centres and beyond. Tours last 1 hour and are for a maximum of twelve people. They will be led by our amazing staff and volunteers.
