8/10. Not your typical day at the zoo. Is it a passion for wildlife, preservation or both? Is "Zooman" on a mission to fill his soul left empty by childhood trauma? These questions prevail throughout this thought-provoking film by the enterprising and promising filmmaker Rolf Winters.
There's a level of surrealism necessary to make Zooman hit in a way that's engaging; something that a TVM isn't capable of pulling off, and aside from a few great actors chewing the screen, this Zooman movie was just okay.
Zooman: Directed by Leon Ichaso. With Louis Gossett Jr., Charles S. Dutton, Cynthia Martells, Khalil Kain. Just another typical day in the life of a shooter. Not one person in this fine neighborhood is willing to come forward with any clues as to the identity of the killer of an innocent little girl. No one wants to get involved.
