Sep 1, 2022 · Abstract. A mobility edge, a critical energy separating localized and extended excitations, is a key concept for understanding quantum localization. The Aubry-André (AA) model, a paradigm for exploring quantum localization, does not naturally allow mobility edges due to self-duality.
Sep 1, 2022 · The location of mobility edge in the low- or high-energy region is tunable via repulsive or attractive interac-tions. Our observation is in good agreement with the theory, and supports an interpretation of such interaction-induced mobility edge via a generalized AA model.

Feb 5, 2023 · Yunfei Wang, a fourth-year graduate student at The University of Southern Mississippi (USM), has been awarded an Advanced Light Source (ALS) Doctoral Fellowship in Residence at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) in Berkeley, Calif. Wang is the first student from a Mississippi institution to receive the fellowship.
