    We occasionally update our membership prices to keep up with market changes, which can include inflation and local tax changes.

    We'll notify you via email at least 30 days ahead of a price increase in your country/territory.

    Your Premium service won't be interrupted by this change, unless you cancel your membership. However, in some countries/regions, you may need to acknowledge and accept price changes to continue your membership.

    To check the status of your membership, go to your Purchase and memberships page. If action is required to acknowledge a price change, you'll find a notice within your membership details.

    New members will be charged the price as displayed in the offer upon sign-up.

    For existing members, your new monthly rate will be charged during the first billing cycle that occurs, at least 30 days after we increase the price of a plan. For example, if we increase the price for new users on 1 September, you won't be charged the higher rate until your next billing cycle in October.

  5. Dec 11, 2023 · Legacy subscribers who paid $9.99 will now pay $4 extra each month, which adds up to an additional $49 each year. Those who paid just $7.99 will be charged $6 more each month. That's an extra $72 per year. To Google's credit, these "grandfathered" YouTube Premium plans were extremely generous.
