Young Blades is a 13-episode historical fantasy television series that aired on PAX TV from January to June 2005, inspired by Alexandre Dumas's 1844 novel The Three Musketeers. [1] [2] [3] Thirteen episodes were made before cancellation.
The musketeers are ordered by the kid-king Louis XIV to investigate the disappearance of four boys from their aristocratic homes on black horses. This is not to the liking of regent cardinal Mazarin, who wants the king to be his hand-puppet and has his own hand in the kidnapping.
