All of the beats are in place, the stakes are clear and the fluid transitions from plot point to plot point work in an effective and engaging manner. Aside from that very dry summary, I found a lot to like about World War Z.

  3. Yes, the movie is totally worth watching, especially if you like zombies. I'd say that the book informs the movie, but they are not directly related. The book is written as a history book based on interviews with multiple characters who lived through World War Z.
