   TL;DR: World War Z is a well-constructed movie. All of the beats are in place, the stakes are clear and the fluid transitions from plot point to plot point work in an effective and engaging manner. Aside from that very dry summary, I found a lot to like about World War Z.

   • It was biased off the book "The Good War" which was an overview of the World War 2, pieced together from first person accounts of the battles/events. Both books are worth a read. I respect World War Z, because I understand what hell its production was, and yet it was super successful in the box office.
