  1. There was a lot of controversy with World War Z centered around fans of the book hating it as well as reshoots/recuts, but as a thrill ride and theatrical experience I loved it. Like I Am Legend, the zombies looked way too cg, but I can forgive that given how many thousands of zombies they showed.

  3. I respect World War Z, because I understand what hell its production was, and yet it was super successful in the box office. It’s a nice case study how to turn a disaster into gold. But as a movie, it’s dumb, and flows poorly due to the reshoots.
