Clifford the Big Red Dog is an animated children's television series which is a reboot to the book series of the same name written by Norman Bridwell, and the 2000 original series created by Deborah Forte and produced by Mike Young Productions, and is the third series in the franchise after the prequel spin-off Clifford's Puppy Days, which was also produced by Mike Young Productions.

It is reboot of the 2000 animated series of the same name due to the new animation style, however it actually is listed as season 3 in TV guides, indicating it is a sequel.
It was released December 6, 2019 on Amazon Prime Video, and a day later on PBS Kids. It was also released in HBO Max, and is still available there. The series is only available on Amazon Prime Video USA.
The series revolves around Emily Elizabeth Howard, a young girl who owns Clifford, a big red dog whom she can talk to. Together the two friends explore their island home, Birdwell Island, and embark on an adventure.

However, the reboot did not do well with older fans, with criticism directed to the removal of all the previous characters, switch of format, and the inclusion of LGBT parenting, among other reasons. In addition, the performances of the child voice actors were considered "underwhelming."

•Due to John Ritter’s death in 2003, Adam Sanders took over the role of Clifford. Sanders stated that he had "studied" John Ritter’s performance in preparation for the role.

•Jetta, Charley, Vaz, Mac, Cleo, and T-Bone from the 2000 original series do not make any appearances in this reboot.
