One of the most popular TV series of the 1980s is set to return to our screens. Knight Rider, the show that predicted the autonomous car four decades before it became a reality and gave it a personality to boot, originally ran from 1982 to 1986.
Just saw that the Knight Rider series and tv movie Knight Rider 2000 will be leaving Netflix (at least in US) on November 30th. I recently starting rewatching it when it came back on; I'm about 2/3rds into Season 3 now.
If you just watch the movie and episodes 11 and up, there's still a good show there. Their biggest mistake was abandoning the setup the movie left them with: Michael and KITT, an old man leading the team (Graiman), a small support team (Sarah and Carrie), a mobile base of operations (cargo plane), and a "One man can make a difference" theme.
