On September 13, 2005, the film was re-released as part of Bandai's "Anime Legends" line, including many of the extras from the Ultimate Edition, including the CD soundtrack and interviews. The film was given another re-release on February 6, 2007 under Bandai's "Anime Movie Classics" label.
There are two different listings for Part 1 (from 2016). There's a Part 2 (also from 2016). There's a complete series set from 2018 and another one from 2021 (labelled "Classics"). I keep reading about a new dub.

On February 27, 2016, Funimation launched a Kickstarter campaign to re-dub the Escaflowne TV series using the HD materials from Sunrise, with the goal of $150,000, with it raising over the goal at $318,784. [18]
When Funimation re-licensed Escaflowne, they obtained the home video version (AKA "the director's cut"), and redubbed it in order to account for the new scenes. So both the Funimation dub and the Funimation subtitled version are complete.

Since you’ve heard neither dub, the new dub is the definitive version. It’s great. It has some odd choices in comparison to the Ocean dub (yeah I would have switched Allan and Dryden but when one can cast themselves in a big role, what can you do).
