The Netflix series aimed at kids was first released on Netflix back in 2016 to coincide with the games latest release called Skylanders: Imaginators.

Imaginators was their last attempt at getting more sales again, but it wasn't enough and any future projects were canceled afterwards. Same happened to Disney Infinity and Lego Dimensions, which also stopped production around the same time as Skylanders.
