I recently watched the entire 15 seasons through and it became my favourite TV show of all time. It took over a year at 5 episodes a week, but it was completely worth it. It's really fashionable to say that ER loses it after season 8, but I can't agree at all.

You can go to https://web.archive.org and enter http://www.digiserve.com/er/index.html in the search bar and pick different dates (the dates 2006 and earlier typically work) in order to see all their recaps. They stopped regularly recapping after season 9 though, I believe.
