At last the new cinema in Basildon is finally open after being caught up in the demise of Empire. Now under the control of VUE, we went on day three of opening to check it out. I’m not a big fan of Vue’s utilitarian look and feel, but you can’t knock the ticket price; significantly cheaper than the monopoly that is Cineworld at Baz Vegas.
