Dec 2, 2013 · The greats have been writing and reading about war — its causes, its effects, its heroes, its victims — since the beginning of written text. Some of our most powerful literature is either overtly about war or profoundly influenced by it (e.g. the best war movies).
It is essential reading. Book One at least should be required reading not only in military studies, but any introductory course on basic political theory.
