Parents should contact the school to request an application form. Where a year group is over-subscribed, places (when they become available) will be allocated according to criteria 1 - 11 as detailed in the admission criteria, until the admission number is reached. Where a place is refused, parents have the right of appeal.

How to apply. At Newman Sixth, all students are required to choose a pathway that allows them to study 3 A-level or equivalent courses over 2 years. A-level courses are linear and examined at the end of Year 13, whilst many of the BTEC Level 3 courses are examined throughout the course, through a combination of formative exams and coursework.
